Southwest Riverside County, Calif. (FEB. 26, 2024) — From March 1st to March 31st, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce alongside Explore Murrieta, the City of Murrieta, and City of Wildomar, is excited to announce the return of Restaurant Month 2024. In a departure from its traditional week-long format, this year's event extends the celebration throughout the entire month. With an array of enticing prizes up for grabs, Restaurant Month promises a delectable journey, inviting patrons to explore new culinary horizons while supporting cherished local eateries. We encourage diners to embark on a culinary adventure, discovering new favorites and revisiting beloved classics.

Restaurant Month celebrates the rich tapestry of dining options in Murrieta, Wildomar, and beyond. In a time when supporting local businesses is paramount, this event highlights the resilience and creativity of our restaurant community. “We are happy to be celebrating Restaurant Month with the Chamber. It gives the City a chance to showcase our distinctive boutique establishments, which offer enticing and unique menus. It also gives residents and visitors a peek into the exceptional dining experience we have here in Murrieta,” shared Scott Agajanian, City of Murrieta's Economic Development Director.

With restaurants serving as vital pillars of our local economy, the significance of their contributions cannot be overstated. In Riverside County alone, the Food Service Industry accounts for 7% of all businesses and employs 10% of the labor force.

 

Diners are invited to participate in Restaurant Month by checking in at each participating venue using the Murrieta, Wildomar, and More Restaurant Month pass, available for free signup at https://bit.ly/DineLocalSWRC. Patrons can effortlessly access their digital passport, collecting unique pin codes at each location visited. Prizes include individual restaurant gift cards valued at approximately $25, with a grand prize collection of gift cards exceeding $200. Diners who check in at least ten designated locations will qualify for the grand prize. Winners will be contacted by the Chamber and announced on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
