SACRAMENTO –Assemblywoman Melissa A. Melendez (R-Lake Elsinore) announced today that she has named Murrieta resident April J. Vidal as the 67th Assembly District’s Woman of the Year.
“From her very first dance class, April has danced her way into our hearts and into the lives of everyone she meets in our community,” said Melendez. “She has used grace and her passion for dance to show how its beauty and artistry can help instill confidence and positive values for our children. I am truly honored to recognize April, as the Woman of the Year for District 67, for her tireless commitment to helping children and for sharing her beautiful talent that has uplifted our community.”
Mrs. Vidal will be honored with a Resolution from the Assemblywoman’s Office, recognizing her efforts and commitment to her community, on March 28th at the Marion V. Ashley Community Center at 6:30pm.
Assemblywoman Melissa A. Melendez represents the 67th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar and a portion of Hemet.
